Examples of work
These photographs (c. 19030's) were bought on eBay. I have cut them up and stuck them over each other to create a new image and story. I have done this to demonstrate that same sex relationships in that era would have been forbidden and very taboo... The images are to show that these relationships did happen, albeit behind closed doers.
There are four short movies on this video - it is part of a video installation. The first part is the main video which is to be shown on a screen. It is in very slow motion to explore the boundaries between still and moving image. The other three parts are to be shown on smaller screens around the main screen. These are also slow motion but not as slow as the main image. Each video is of the same model and shows her in a shirt and tie, which depicts an androgynous look. All videos are to play on a loop.
