Film & Media Arts Production, BA (Hons) students will be attending Encounters Film Festival 2026 at Watershed in Bristol.
We will be offering subsidised Discovery Passes which will be £20 for 5 events (£35 if buying from festival). You can purchase these via Weston College shop, see link below.
Once you have the pass you can then reserve individual tickets for screenings, talks and events. See link below for details.
We will be meeting at Watershed at 10am on Weds 23rd and Thurs 24th September, you will need to make your own way to Bristol. Watershed. 1 Canons Road, Harbourside, Bristol, BS1 5TX.
This is an invaluable trip that will support all of your modules. You should keep some notes about what you see and feed this into your module course work.
Port Enyon YHA - Location for Year 2 Short Film Production
We are proposing using the YHA Port Enyon as the location for next years Short Film Production (Yr2). As bookings are already getting tight, we are proposing 25-29th January 2016.
You will each be asked to generate and pitch ideas, we will also plan a recce. Details below
