In February 2015 we headed to Nantes, France, on train from London and made this film which had a first person take on the 'city symphony' genre.

As Nantes was European Green Capital 2013 and Bristol is European Green Capital for 2015 we suggested this should be an angle for the film.

The themes for Bristol 2015 are: Energy, Food, Nature, Transport and Resources

There is also a 'Future Cities' strand to the programme. It could be interesting to use the film as a link/ conversation between Nantes and Bristol. What can they learn from each other? What does/ did it mean to 'real' people living in these cities?
