Bio

Jimmy is a filmmaker and film academic.

In the spring of 2015 his debut feature film was released nationally in UK cinemas. High Tide, starring Melanie Walters (Submarine, Gavin and Stacey) and Sam Davies (Dr Who), was shot on location in Swansea and Gower. It tells the story of a single day during which a mother must mend the broken relationship with her son; it is a moving, powerful and tender portrait of a vital twenty-four hours in two people’s lives.

He has delivered guest lectures at a number of Uk and European HE institutions, including: Queen Mary University, London; University of Cork; Kins College, London; Leeds University; and the University of Birmingham.
