Supermensch explores the world of Hollywood insider, Shep Gordon. Falling into music management by chance after moving to LA and befriending Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix, arch hedonist Shep was soon managing rock stars (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper), producing films (They Live), dating actresses (Sharon Stone) and inadvertently creating the concept of the celebrity chef.

Stuffed with incredible archive footage and searing anecdotes, Mike Myers’ (Wayne’s World, Austin Powers) directorial début is a warm and funny portrait of a man who has more than a few stories to tell about the nature of fame.

Tickets for cinema showings are sold on the door from approximately 30 minutes before the advertised showing time.

Wed 23 July, 8:00 PM Tickets: £3/2 (filmmakers in for free)

Bluescreen is the open screen night for local filmmakers to bring in and screen their short films. Any film genre is welcomed – the more eclectic mix of films we get the better we like it!

Films can be up to 20mins long and must be on DVD (formatted for a DVD Player) or Memory Stick (formatted for VLC Player).

If you've not got a film, come along and support the other filmmakers and/or get inspired to make a film yourself and get involved in Bristol's filmmaking community!

PLUS we have Bluescreen Hi-Fi DJ's in the Bar, Cube Orchestra film re-scores and, if time, some classic shorts from the Bluescreen Archives.

Films are generally on screen from 8.30pm
