Le Voyage a Nantes (A Journey To Nantes)

Le Voyage a Nantes is a trail around Nantes wih 30 stops along the way, looking at different peices of Art, the whole trail is 10 miles long if you follow it like the map shows but you can do as much or as little as you want. The website shows some the art on display and a map of where everything is which will be really helpful for when we go to Nantes.

There is also a blog about someone's trip to Nantes and Le Voyage a Nantes, shown through pictures and their own thoughts about it which could also help when planning where the best places are to go in Nantes.

SQN Mixing - 1

SQN Mixing is my job on set and thus I have been doing some research to figure out the best way to do this.

IDEAL POSITION:

The ideal position for the SQN sound control wheel is between 10-12 O'clock as this gives limited amount of background chatter and noise with an optimum amount of clear direct sound.

BUTTONS:

Gang switch OFF!
Limiter (WHITE) switched to Manual mode (This controls peaks and gives a smooth roll off)
Attenuator (UNDER WHEEL) Off

eddy kim- city symphony styled music videos

Eddy Kim is a South Korean singer, songwriter and guitarist who daubted in 2014 with his first mini album The Manual. The music video's for his album are filmed in amsterdam in a city symphony style. I was reminded of these the other day when wanting to find something relaxing to listen to. it would be nice to do something like this in france.

Students Show their Films on the Big Screen, Cube Cinema, Bristol

Excellent night last night at The Cube Cinema, Bristol. With students from FdA Film & Media Arts Production presenting their work as part of BlueScreen. Jimmy and I also showed our own shorts.

Great to see their films up on the big screen, with a packed audience and brilliant for the students to showcase their work alongside other film makers from the region. The quality and range of films is always impressive.

We plan to take even more films to the next events: March 25th and May 20th. Helps spread word amongst Film community about our course and film makers.

Short film shot entirely handheld on the Canon C100 camera. Involves zero dialogue to progress the plotting. Sorry about the sound issues.

A comedy about a group of friends deciding going out for the night.
