About Me

I’m a guy who likes movies and likes to make movies. I particularly enjoy editing, but am always interested in gaining more experience in the various roles on a film set. In filmmaking, there is always more to learn and different kinds of production to experience, for which I have the enthusiasm and am eager to see and do as much as I can.

Films and Projects

A Dawdler’s Quest

Determined to get out of doing work, a slacker convinces his brother to go on a road trip with him.

Heinous Crime

Mr. Daniels has been accused of a dastardly crime, but did he do it?

Quick Coffee

I try to make a cup of coffee, but it is not cinematic enough.

Now Screening; Odeon Weston

A mini-documentary about the unique architecture and Compton Organ in the Odeon Cinema in Weston-super-Mare, England.

Experimental media

For an experimental media project, I made a series of collages inspired by the work of Coldwar Steve. They are meant to look like Doctor Who DVD covers, with each cover being a satirical cut-up based on the sociopolitical themes that were used in classic episodes of Doctor Who (From the left: The theme of the ‘The Daleks’ was the fear of radiation, the theme of ‘The Dalek Invasion of Earth’ was discrimination and the theme of ‘The War Games’ was peace and war). Contrary to popular belief, Doctor Who has always been politically inspired.

This is a less subtle episode to feature a political theme, but this episode of Doctor Who came out only two years after the US and UK invasion of Iraq.

Self-isolation Film

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I was tasked with making a film while self-isolating, so I made a film about self-isolating.

Climate Change Video

Coverage of the climate strike held at Weston College Loxton Campus.

Rendezvous

A suspense thriller short film, about an assassin who betrays her employer.

Dirigo Film Festival

I participated in the organisation of the 7th Dirigo International Student Film Festival, which was held online due to the national lockdown caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic. As one of the directors of the festival, it was my job to watch and review all of the student films that were submitted. I then debated with my fellow directors to shortlist the finalists and pick a winner for each category, and then arranged he running order of the final program of films.
