About Me

I’m currently studying FdA Film and Media Production at UCW and I’m at the end of the second year with intentions to progress to the third. Over the past two years, I have taken up a wide range of roles ranging from; Director, D.O.P, Editor, Lighting and Scriptwriter.
I also had the role of co-director of Dirigo Film Festival. An annual film competition/festival set up and run by the 2nd year students of UCW film students.
After completing this course, I would like to go down the route of Director. I would prefer to work on smaller scale projects as it means more avant garde ideas are encouraged and there’s more internal control over the film. This could possibly be resolved by moving to France due to their laws on final cut privileges.

2nd Year
One location film completely set in my bathroom.
My second film of the second year at Uni. A non dialogue film.
My final film of the 2nd year of Uni. This was made under the circumstances of lockdown.

1st Year
A short, rough film about Bristol. My first film I had made in this course. It wasn’t for anything in particular, I had made it to test out equipment and such.
A short film for the first brief of the year, ‘Everyday Activity’ where we had to make a short (roughly 3 minutes long) film. I had chosen to base mine around a person spending their birthday alone.
Documentary about Barcelona for the documentary brief. I based mine on the city of Barcelona and what it means to be a part of the daily life in the city.
A brief film documenting the workshop that UCW’s Performing Arts had taken part in that was hosted by Michael Shaffer.
SIDESTREETS is a Underground art Documentary of artists from around the world living in Berlin. This was the documentary that we made for the 1st year residential brief.
