The first brief FdA Film students work on in Film Production Skills module is 'Everyday Activity' brief. Students are asked to pick an everyday activity (i.e. Meeting the parents of your partner, Making a cup of tea, having a shave, walking the dog, catching the bus etc) and use the language and dynamics of ‘cinema’ to transform this scene. This could be to evoke drama/ adventure, enhance tension, be sensual, question ‘norms’, make a social/ political statement....
