The West of England Design Forum was formed in 2006 by a bunch of passionate designers and people working in the industry who wanted to create a place for designers, and those interested in design, to come together, be inspired and promote design.
Nine years on this is still our aim. Together we will grow a dynamic, connected and thriving local design community.

Mr Bingo, illustrator and human, amused and delighted another sold-out WEDF audience at the Arnolfini on 16 July 2014. His eloquent talk (in which he uttered surprisingly few swear words) showed some beautifully hand drawn profanities alongside an eclectic range of stuff that inspires his work — he was a delight. It was a true and honest talk about doing what you love and loving what you do. Everyone came away knowing about graffiti ‘buffing’, wanting to get their cat drawn by an eBay artist and thoroughly content to know that someone else out there found how slowly snow melted on crisp packets – a curious thing.
