Platform 14 (2013)
This co-operative of designers studying work-based BA (Hons) Graphic Design at Weston College, in partnership with Bath Spa University, are taking their end of year show on the road, from Weston to Bristol to London.
ollowing the theme of travel, they have taken their inspiration from the Great Western Railway, which linked the South West to London and was built to such high standards that it became known as “The Great Way Round”. This is the culmination of a journey taken as developing designers: It is an experience that will be hard to rival and it’s only the beginning!
This exhibition marks their arrival in Bristol, where they'll showcase a variety of self initiated projects with real world applications, ranging from improving bike fitting to providing a visual language to make medical language more accessible.The projects are a reflection of how design can make a positive change in society.
They are Platform14 - Arriving in Weston, Bristol and London this summer.
