Fantastic information for Film Lovers and Makers

FilmMakerIQ is a fantastic website and youtube channel that gives small time film makers like us the information that we need in an informative but not overly boring way. They are essentially the Vsauce of Film making.

Recently they have done a couple of videos on the essentials of sound design and production, this will be very useful for me in working with the SQM mixer for Writers Block.

Found this whilst skimming through internet searches.

According to this dude at Cinema5D, He suggests that you stick to the native (850) ISO and if you drop it lower or higher you are do so at risk of losing quality!

Yet to try it out myself!

Feel free to have a read and let me know what you find!  CF

Year 2, Group Film Project Update

Hi All,

So whats new?

Recently finished the second draft of the script which was then sent off to the lead writer at Long Arm Films, James Gillingham. He replied with some amazing comments about the script that will seriously assist me in the coming drafts.

One thing that you could all help with, is we need a new name for the young female character. She needs a name that can be shortened. As it stands her name is Poppy, and her nickname is Popsie. So if anyone has any suggestions get in touch.

FdA Film & Media Arts Production students are planning a residential film project on location in Nantes. Here are some links you may find useful for your research.
